The delicious and refreshing drink that wizards and witches love is here!

This is a super tasty drink, if you do it right. You might have tried juicing a pumpkin before, like I did at first, and taken a sip thinking of how yummy pumpkin juice sounds in Harry Potter, only to find that it is actually not that great. Well, there is a way to make it as delicious and refreshing as the books make it seem!

"...all anybody felt like doing was strolling onto the grounds and flopping down on the grass with several pints of iced pumpkin juice, perhaps playing a casual game of Gobstones or watching the giant squid propel itself dreamily across the surface of the lake..." -Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

Ingredients

1/2 can orange juice concentrate

3 cups water

2 cans of apricots in juice

1/2 cup carrot juice

1 small sugar pumpkin

1 cup sugar

5 pumpkin spice tea bags

1 Tbs almond extract

*Juicer

How-To Make It

Heat 1 cup of water until boiling. Pour over the pumpkin spice tea bags. Cover and set aside.

Open the apricots. Drain off and save 2 cups of juice. Set aside.

Cut open the sugar pumpkin. Discard the innards and seeds. Cut out and juice the flesh until you have 1/2 a cup of pumpkin juice. (Make sure not to try and juice the rind. It can break your juicer!)

Combine the orange juice concentrate with the remaining 2 cups of water and the pumpkin spice tea. Combine with apricot juice, carrot juice, pumpkin juice, and almond extract.

Add the sugar and stir until dissolved. Refrigerate and or enjoy over ice!
